What is Floated Concrete?
Floated concrete, also referred to as polished or power-floated concrete, is a finishing method for concrete floors. This process transforms a freshly poured concrete layer into a smooth and durable surface. The power-floating technique, named after the butterfly-shaped blades mounted on specialised machines, is performed while the concrete is still setting. Floated concrete can be painted with specialised concrete paints for a polished look.
Is Concrete Paint Always Two-Component?
A two-component primer is stronger than a single-component concrete paint. Two-component concrete paint becomes extremely hard and is both scratch and wear-resistant, making it the preferred choice for heavily used floors.
