2K Clear Lacquer

Clear lacquers include both standard clear lacquer and 2K clear lacquer. Is 2K that much better than standard clear lacquer, and what are the differences? Standard clear lacquer is inherently scratch and wear-resistant and suitable for various purposes, such as doors, frames, and even tables. A 2K clear lacquer is an extra durable lacquer made of two components that must be mixed together. This creates a chemical reaction that makes the lacquer even harder and more wear-resistant once cured.

Clear matte lacquer

Clear lacquer is available in matte, satin, and gloss finishes. Usually, matte clear lacquer is chosen for floors or tables, while gloss clear lacquer is better suited for doors or frames. Most 2K lacquers are high gloss and typically used for boats. It's easy to determine which clear lacquer to use based on the project. Outdoor clear lacquer is almost always glossy, while indoor projects commonly require matte finishes. Solvent-based clear lacquer

Modern water-based clear lacquers are suitable for floors and stairs. They are highly resistant to wear and scratches, ensuring no visible signs of usage appear over time.

What is clear lacquer?
