It offers preventive film protection against algae and mould, is highly dirt-repellent, water-resistant, has high water vapour and carbon dioxide permeability, low tension, easy application, and is microporous (non-film-forming).

Can this product be applied over existing wall paint?

Which surfaces can it be applied to?

What is the coverage per m²?
Sigma Sol Silicate can be applied in two layers. The first layer will have a slightly higher consumption than the second. The average consumption is 90 to 125 ml per m². On average, this is 100 m² per 10 litres of Sigma Sol Silicate for one layer. Please note this is an estimate; actual consumption may vary depending on absorbent surfaces or the thickness of application. We only provide an average consumption for Sigma Sol Silicate.
Which surfaces can it be used on?
This varies depending on the surface. Below is a list of different surfaces: New plasterwork, Old plasterwork, Concrete, Sand-lime brick, Masonry, Brick, Previously applied paint layers.
In which colours can it be mixed?
We can mix any colour with our mixing system. You can choose from all RAL colours, including RAL 9010, RAL 7016, RAL 9001, RAL 7021, RAL 9005, RAL 6009, and RAL 1013. Pre-Treatment

Take a wet sponge and press it against the wall. If the wall absorbs the water, a primer is needed first. If the wall does not absorb moisture, no pre-treatment is required.
