To paint plastered walls, you need to consider the absorbency of the surface. A freshly plastered wall isn’t ready to be painted straight away. You’ll first need to apply a primer. This primer will be absorbed into the wall, allowing the paint to glide over it more easily later. If you skip this step, the paint will soak into the wall too quickly, resulting in streaks and unnecessary use of extra product. Once your plastered wall has been treated with primer, you can proceed with painting the walls.
