What is magnetic wallpaper?
Ekotex magnetic wallpaper is essentially a magnetic strip that you apply underneath your “normal” wallpaper. The Ekotex magnetic wallpaper covers 6.2 square metres (10m x 62cm), making it ideal for use in office spaces or school buildings, for example. Once the magnetic strip is glued to the wall, you can cover it with another Ekotex wallpaper of your choice. This creates the effect of having magnetic wallpaper.
What types of magnetic wallpaper are there?
There is only one type of magnetic wallpaper. However, Ekotex offers a wide range of fibreglass wallpaper options that can be applied over the magnetic wallpaper. Paired with the appropriate wall paints, you can achieve your desired look. At De Verfmenger, we can mix any colour paint you want for this purpose.
What colours of magnetic wallpaper can I order?
Ekotex fibreglass wallpaper and magnetic wallpaper are not available in colours. They are both delivered in standard white from the factory. However, you can apply wall paint in any colour you like after putting up the wallpaper. We have all the necessary wall paints for Ekotex wallpaper in stock and can mix them in any colour of your choice.
Is magnetic wallpaper self-adhesive?
Unfortunately, it is not. The magnetic wallpaper does not come with a self-adhesive backing. You will need to glue it to your wall using standard wallpaper adhesive. Once applied, you can paste additional adhesive over the magnetic wallpaper layer to attach another type of wallpaper over it.
