Where can I use VP Platina Aqua Matt?
VP Platina Aqua is perfect for protecting all indoor woodwork, such as doors, stairs, and frames. VP Platina Aqua Matt is an easy-to-use product suitable for both professionals and homeowners. After experiencing VP Platina Aqua Matt, some professionals have transitioned from using Sikkens Rubbol to using VP Platina Aqua Matt. VP Platina Aqua Matt is both affordable and effective!
Why should I choose water-based lacquer?
For indoor applications, acrylic-based lacquer is the ideal choice. It does not produce strong odours during application, and its turpentine-free formula prevents yellowing of colours. Previously, only a limited range of water-based products offered good application properties. Nowadays, with options like Sikkens Rezisto and VP Platina Aqua, excellent results are easily achievable.
What is the consumption per m² of this product?
The consumption for VP Platina Aqua Matt is between 12 and 14 m² per litre. However, our experience shows that most painters achieve 10 to 12 m² per litre with VP lacquer. It’s always better to have a little extra paint than not enough.
Why doesn’t VP Platina Aqua Matt yellow indoors?
Because VP Platina Aqua Matt is acrylic-based, it does not yellow indoors. This feature makes VP Platina Aqua especially suitable for painting indoor doors and frames. VP Platina Aqua Matt delivers a beautiful velvety matte finish and can easily be compared to Sikkens Rezisto Matt from Sikkens Paint.
What colours can this product be mixed in?
We can mix any colour using our mixing system. To create your desired colour, simply select it in our colour selector or contact us. When mixing VP paints and lacquers, we exclusively use certified mixing machines and corresponding pigments.
