Why should I choose a water-based enamel?
For interior jobs, acrylic enamel is the ideal product. It does not have an odour when applied in your home, and because it lacks turpentine, your colours will not yellow over time.
What is the coverage per m² for this product?
The coverage of Relius enamels is typically 12 to 16 m² per litre. However, based on our experience, most painters achieve a coverage of 10 to 12 m² per litre. It is always better to have a little extra paint than to run out mid-project.
When is the best time to apply Relius Hydro-PU Seidenlack?
The ideal application temperature is between 5-30°C, with maximum humidity levels of 85%. Under optimal conditions (20°C), this enamel is ready for overpainting after 6 hours, making weekend projects a breeze. It comes ready to use, but can also be thinned using water or an acrylic thinner if preferred.
Why doesn’t Relius Hydro-PU Seidenlack yellow indoors?
We strongly recommend using water-based enamels indoors. These paints do not emit odours during application and do not yellow, unlike turpentine-based enamels. Additionally, water-based paints tend to dry faster, making them highly practical for interior projects.
