Sigma Contour PU Satin
Sigma Contour PU Satin is a satin gloss topcoat based on PU. We can mix this paint in any possible color. Sigma Contour PU Satin can be applied to all types of wood, steel, non-ferrous metals, and various plastics that have been pre-treated (primed/undercoated) according to the instructions. This paint is intended for outdoor use and is a high-quality professional-grade product. This Sigma product offers excellent coverage with outstanding flow and protection for up to 8 years.
Sigma Contour PU Satin can be easily cleaned with your usual household cleaning products. The ideal application temperature is 5-30 degrees Celsius, with a maximum humidity of 85%. Under ideal conditions (20 degrees), this paint is recoatable after 18 hours and dust-dry after 2 hours. A major advantage of this paint is that it is ready to use and does not need to be diluted.

We believe that the VP Gold Mix Fiber has the right fibers for the best end result. Which roller do I need
With a roller, it is desirable to create a smooth and even finish. You don’t want to have to pick lint out of your paintwork. Absorption and release are essential here. We recommend using the Copenhagen Pro Lacquer Roller or the Anza Felt Roller for working with alkyd lacquer or paint.

What is the consumption per m2
The consumption of Sigma lacquers is 12 to 16 m2 per liter. However, our experience shows that most painters achieve a consumption of 10 to 12 m2 per liter for Sigma lacquer. It’s better to have a little too much paint than too little.

Which gloss do you recommend
For outdoor lacquer, high gloss is the most suitable, as high gloss lacquer has a longer lifespan due to its smooth surface, which reduces dirt adhesion. Additionally, it is easier to clean. Gloss is always indicated by a number. A high gloss lacquer has a gloss level of 60 to 90. Satin gloss has a gloss level of 30 to 60, and matte paint should remain below 30.

Which primer do I need
Primer and undercoat are the same and serve the same purpose: ensuring good adhesion of the final product. Additionally, it is cost-effective for absorbent surfaces. A primer makes surfaces less absorbent, allowing more square meters to be covered with a liter of paint. This will ultimately ensure the best end result and save you money.
