What is the coverage per m2?
The coverage of Drenth lacquers is 12 to 16 m2 per litre. Based on our experience, however, most painters achieve coverage between 10 to 12 m2 per litre for Drenth lacquer. It’s always better to have a little extra paint rather than too little.
Why doesn’t this paint yellow?
Since Drenth Aqua PU High Gloss is water-based, it does not yellow indoors. This makes Drenth Aqua PU High Gloss an excellent choice for painting interior doors and frames.
What colours can you mix it in?
We can mix any colour using our mixing system. To get your desired shade, you can easily select the colour in our colour chooser or contact us. For mixing Drenth paints and lacquers, we exclusively use official mixing machines with the matching pigments.
Which primer do I need?
Undercoat and primer serve the same purpose. They ensure good adhesion of the finish while minimising absorption on porous surfaces, resulting in a cost-efficient solution. A primer makes surfaces less absorbent, allowing more square metres to be covered per litre of paint. This ultimately results in a better outcome and saves costs. The best primer for this product is Antonol AQ Primer.
Are there alternatives?
Sikkens Rubbol BL Rezisto High Gloss: This is a similar lacquer that is water-based and suitable for indoor use. It also has a high-gloss finish.
