Is it Den Braven or Bostik?
Since its establishment in 1974, Bostik Benelux B.V. What is the coverage of Den Braven Hybri-Seal?
Calculating usage for a sealant can be challenging. However, with an easy calculation, you can estimate the amount required. Use the following formula considering the length, height, and depth of the joint to be sealed. For instance, if a joint is 5 metres long, 10 millimetres high, and 5 millimetres deep, you calculate 5 x 10 x 5 = 250 millilitres. On average, one 330ml cartridge covers approximately 6 metres of joint.
How should I apply Den Braven sealant?
Apply the sealant using a caulking gun.
Cut the tip off the cartridge with a utility knife. Attach the nozzle to the opening of the cartridge and cut the nozzle at an angle matching the desired width. Place the cartridge into the caulking gun. Apply a consistent bead of sealant in a smooth motion from left to right. Avoid using too much sealant. Wet your finger with soapy water and gently smooth the bead. Ensure the bead is water-shedding and do not press too hard.
Can Den Braven Hybri-Seal be painted?
Yes, this sealant is paintable once it has dried. If you paint with a chosen colour, it will retain its original shade.
