VP Platina Aqua Primer
VP Platina Aqua Primer is designed for indoor use but can also be applied outdoors. It is a primer for a lacquer layer on wood, metal, hard plastics, and other difficult surfaces such as steel and iron. For challenging surfaces, a multiprimer is always necessary to create adhesion between the surface and the lacquer layer. VP Platina Aqua Multiprimer is an acrylic (water-based) primer. This results in improved adhesion with your surface and the lacquer, ultimately ensuring a more polished final outcome. Additionally, this primer doesn’t emit odours when used indoors because it is water-based. We can mix this primer in any conceivable colour. Platina Aqua Multiprimer is quick-drying, moisture-regulating, and has exceptional flow properties. It is suitable for all challenging surfaces, such as plastic, iron, and steel.

Why should I choose water-based lacquer?
For both indoor and outdoor tasks, acrylic lacquer is the ideal product. It doesn’t release strong odours during application, and because it is free of turpentine, your colours won’t yellow over time.
What is the consumption per m² of this product?
The consumption for VP lacquers is 12 to 14 m² per litre. However, our experience shows that most professional painters achieve a consumption of 10 to 12 m² per litre. It’s always better to have a little extra paint than to run short.
What colours can this product be mixed in?
We can mix any colour using our mixing system. To get your desired colour, you can either select a shade using our colour chooser or contact us. For mixing VP paints and lacquers, we exclusively use certified mixing machines and original pigments.
What brush do I need for acrylic lacquer?
When applying acrylic paint or lacquer, choosing the right brush is important. The correct brush ensures an even application with optimal absorption and release.
