Which brush should I use for wall paint?
It’s important to choose the right brush when applying wall paint. Using the correct brush ensures even application of the paint, with excellent absorption and release of paint. We recommend the VP Synthetic All-Round Brush, designed with a combination of traditional pig hairs and selected synthetic fibres, to deliver optimal results.
Do I need primer?
Before treating your wall with latex or wall paint, it’s essential to determine if a primer is required. You can easily check this yourself by conducting a simple test. Use a wet sponge and press it against the wall. If the wall absorbs the water, then primer is necessary. If the water is not absorbed, no pre-treatment is required. For more tips and detailed steps, please read our blog about applying primer.
Which paint roller should I use?
For wall paint application, it’s important to achieve an even and smooth finish, free of lint or imperfections. Proper absorption and release of paint are essential. For latex or wall paint, we recommend using the Toptex Wall Paint Roller, which has been rated as the best in our tests. Check out our blog on which wall paint roller to use for your project.
