What is Topdeq Cronostain used for?
Topdeq Cronostain Black can be applied to new bare wood. It can also be used over existing paint layers and even creosote.
How many layers of Topdeq Cronostain should I apply?
For untreated wood, 2 to 3 coats are recommended. For treated wood, 1 to 2 coats should be sufficient.
What is the coverage per m² for this product?
The coverage of Topdeq Cronostain is 12 to 13 m² per litre. Based on our experience, most painters achieve around 10 to 12 m² per litre with Topdeq Cronostain Black. It’s always better to have a little extra paint at hand rather than too little.
What brush should I use for alkyd paint?
When applying alkyd paint and varnish, selecting the correct brush is important. The right brush ensures even application and optimal absorption and release. We recommend the VP Platina Mix Fibre Brush, which combines traditional pig bristles with selected synthetic fibres for a perfect result.
What roller should I use?
Using a roller ensures a clean, even finish. You don’t want to deal with lint in your paintwork. Proper absorption and release are essential. For working with alkyd paint, we recommend the Copenhagen felt roller or the Anza felt roller.
