Which brush to use?
Sigma Fungisol can be applied with a VP stain brush, which ensures the Fungisol is evenly distributed across the surface. A good brush has optimal absorption and release, allowing the Fungisol to be spread evenly.
Which roller to use?
Using a roller allows paint or lacquer to be applied evenly in strokes across the surface. For Sigma Fungisol, the VP Toptex Wall Paint Roller is ideal. This roller ensures the Fungisol is evenly distributed across the surface, as it has optimal absorption and release. The Fungisol is deeply absorbed into the roller fibres and evenly released without causing lint or other impurities.
What is Fungisol used for?
This water-dilutable disinfectant is particularly suitable for pre-treating wall and ceiling surfaces, such as in breweries, bathrooms, and bedrooms. It can also be used outdoors on facades, roof overhangs, and other surfaces. Fungisol prevents algae growth and mould. First, apply Fungisol to the surface, let it dry, and after 6 hours, you can paint over it with wall paint.
How do I use Fungisol?
The product is applied using rollers or brushes. Areas with algae growth and mould should be cleaned with a degreaser such as St Marc. The affected and adjacent areas can be generously treated with Sigma Fungisol. Fungisol can be diluted with water at a ratio of 1:4, and it should be left to work for approximately 6 hours. In cases of severe contamination, the treatment can be repeated. After this, the Fungisol can be painted over with a wall paint of your choice.
Which surfaces can I use Fungisol on?
Fungisol is suitable for multiple surfaces and can be used both indoors and outdoors on surfaces such as:
- Concrete: Suitable for concrete surfaces, such as walls and floors.
- Masonry: Can be applied to masonry, such as brick and stone walls.
- Plaster: Suitable for plaster surfaces, both indoors and outdoors.
- Plasterboard: Suitable for treating plasterboard walls and ceilings.

How to dilute Fungisol?
Fungisol can be diluted with water for efficient use. It can be diluted at a ratio of 1:4 (1 part Fungisol and 4 parts water).
