History of Washi Tape:
Washi Tape originates in Japan and received its name as such. In 2006, a group of women wanted a tour of the Kakoshi CO. LTD Washi factory. These women created a book featuring different designs of masking tape. Initially, Kakoshi did not approve of this idea but relented after persistent requests. Seventeen artists created a beautiful book that showcased Washi Tape in various colours.
Later, this type of tape was introduced into the painting industry due to its excellent properties. Washi tape does not leave adhesive residue and always ensures super-clean lines.
