What is VP Extreme Matt used for?
VP Extreme Matt is a wall paint designed to protect and colour walls and ceilings indoors. We can mix VP Extreme Matt into any colour you desire.
What is the coverage per m² for this product?
The coverage of VP Extreme Matt is between 7 and 8 m² per litre. However, in our experience, most painters achieve a usage of 7 to 8 m² per litre. It’s better to have slightly too much paint than not enough.
New 2.5-litre White Composition
We have a new formulation for the 2.5-litre packaging. This might result in slight colour differences between the 2.5-litre and 10-litre containers due to the different compositions.
Which colours can this product be mixed in?
We can mix any possible colour using our mixing system. You can choose from all RAL colours, such as RAL 9010, RAL 7016, RAL 9001, RAL 7021, RAL 9005, RAL 6009, and RAL 1013. A frequently asked question is what the difference is between RAL 9001 and RAL 9010. You can read more about this on our blog. What surfaces is this product suitable for?
This wall paint is suitable for multiple surfaces. For absorbent surfaces, always use a primer first. Suitable surfaces include Concrete, Plasterwork, Plasterboard, Brickwork, Renovlies wallpaper, Fibreglass wallpaper, Masonry, Interior walls, Exterior facades.
Pre-treatment
Before starting your job, we recommend cleaning the surface. Use a product like St Marc Degreaser. Whether you’re treating concrete, wood, stone, or wallpaper, always clean beforehand to ensure optimal adhesion.
Do I need a primer?
Before painting your wall with wall paint/latex, it’s important to check if a primer is needed. You can determine this yourself with a simple test. Take a wet sponge and press it against the wall. If the wall absorbs the water, you’ll need a primer first. If the wall doesn’t absorb moisture, no pre-treatment is required. You can find more tips on this in our blog about applying primer.
What brush should I use for wall paint?
Choosing the right brush is essential for applying wall paint. The correct brush ensures even application with optimal absorption and release of the paint.
