Old acrylic paint layer: No primer is required if the layer is intact. You can directly apply Nelf Xcellent Resist Satin.
Old solvent-based paint layer: Apply a primer first, such as the Nelf Universal Primer. After one layer of primer, finish with one layer of Xcellent Resist Satin.
Plastic or metal: Always use a multi-primer before applying Nelf Xcellent Resist Satin.
